Sunlight Readable LCD Monitors are optically Bonded Daylight Readable Monitors that perform optimally when viewed and used in direct sunlight. Outdoor display LCD monitors are ideal for use in bright conditions with indirect or reflected bright light. This process eliminates the air gap between the LCD display and the cover glass, eliminating the internal reflections which cause the visual wash-out typically seen in bright conditions.The optical bonding also increases the durability of the LCD monitor by bonding the LCD panel to the cover glass.  

The optical bond maintains perfect display uniformity while providing protection against shock, humidity and internal fogging caused by trapped moisture in standard LCD monitors. Optically Bonded monitors are less expensive to produce than Sunlight Readable monitors, produce less heat, require less power and provide increased ruggedness and durability.  However, Sunlight Readable monitors still have the advantage of excellent image quality even in direct, bright sunlight.

Sunlight Touch Screen displays are also known as sunlight readable monitors, bright lcd displays, outdoor lcd monitor, daylight viewable lcd, sun readable lcd, daylight displays and digital signage displays.  These specialized LCD Sun Readable Monitors typically feature 1,000 nits to 2,200 nits of brightness.
