Xenarc Technologies throws its hat into the “direct sunlight readable” ring with a 7” high bright display producing 1000 nits of brightness from a high resolution LCD panel. 

Producing enough brightness to power through an anti-reflective 5-wire touchscreen panel, this unit is ideal for outdoor applications, as well as in-vehicle, or anywhere where direct sunlight may be an issue.  In accordance with applications such as these, the monitor can function in environments up to 149°F.  This unit uses a VGA or composite video display interface, and USB for the touchscreen.
