Continuing its push into the mobile computing market, Xenarc Technologies Corporation proudly added the MPTX1 mini computer to its product line. In addition to the MPTX1-CS1, which comes equipped with an Intel Celeron 1 GHz processor, the Company also added the MPTX1-CS2, which runs on a Pentium III 1.2 GHz chip. All of these computers are upgradeable to CD-ROM, DVD-ROM, CD-RW or DVD/CD-RW combo drive. The MPTX1-CS2 also includes and 2 USB ports and a 20 GB hard drive, whereas the MPTX1-CS1 comes with 2 USB ports and a 10 GB hard drive.
These units were brought in to complement the 7” VGA monitors (700Y & 700YV) as well as the 7” touchscreen VGA monitors (700TS & 700TSV), all of which are core products in Xenarc’s product line. “We’ve had enormous success with our line of VGA monitors, and we’ve been pre-sold out of our 7” touchscreen monitor for quite some time now. Logically, we looked to provide a bundle with these monitors by providing a cost-efficient mobile computer,” said a company spokeman, of their decision to bring on the computers. I’m glad we’ve found something that fits what customers are looking for in mobile computing.”
