2014 has been a very progressive year for Xenarc Technologies Corporation. Since being first to market with a 7" VGA touchscreen back in 2002, 2014 has to be considered one of the biggest steps forward in our product line. With the introduction of the first 7" Capacitive touchscreen HDMI/DVI/VGA display, the 700CSH, early in the year, and finishing the year off with the introduction of the 1029CNH, the first IP65 rated 10.1" Capacitive, water/dust proof display device, also featuring HDMI/DVI and VGA inputs, Xenarc Technologies continues to maintain its leadership role in the small form factor, touchscreen display industry.
The 700CSH continues to be critically acclaimed since its introduction in late 2013/early 2014. It was a big hit at the International SID Show in San Diego this year, being the first of its kind in the 7" class. But the biggest splash was made by the 1029CNH. Displayed in an aquarium with a non-stop spray of water on the monitor, the 1029CNH pushed the envelope of what a small for factor display device can do. Even being submerged for 4 days did not affect the display, as it performed flawlessly with the touch interface and the HDMI video feed. The 1029CNH, due to high demand, is already available for pre-order, with shipments beginning to go out the first week of September.
Xenarc Technologies Corporation has continually worked to improve all of our devices, even the original 700 series YV and TSV, which are still going strong after 13 years of production. The 700TSV, first introduced in 2002, has increased its brightness over 350% over the years, and is more vibration and shock resistant than ever. These improvements in our products over their lifetime has led to a much greater acceptance in different industries such as transportation, point of sale, marine, and digital signage and gaming. As is Xenarc Technologies' core belief, we work in concert with our clients to build display devices that fit modern day applications.
